Magic run today
It was raining, and I mean raining, not a fine mist, not a nice gentle spring rain, the sidewalks were rivers. It wasn’t cold, it wasn’t warm, it was just perfect. I could have kept running forever, if I didn’t have other things to do today. I have a new route open to me and today I took it. The East Rock Rd. bridge is open, and I cut across, and forgot all about the 1/2 mile long hill on that side! That’s cool, it was still fun to switch it up. But today was fun and easy, I didn’t feel like I was just out there grinding out the miles and that’s a really good thing. No fuel, no water on a day like today, just me and running and I like it.
So it’s almost time to go back to New York, hit up Webster Hall and the Black n’ Blue Bowl tonight. Going to be a fun day. Wake up tomorrow and do it all over again!
