Don’t know what to say
Didn’t run today. I’m on target with my yearly goals, with 1149.87 mi (1850 km) so far this year, so only 350.43 mi (564 km) or 116.81 mi/month (188 km/month) for the rest of the year!
But my excitement and pride in my accomplishments, have been eclipsed by more tragedy. Look tragedy happens every day in this world, but the fact is that shit like Oregon needs to fucking stop. We need actual regulation, we need to not have loopholes and bullshit. More guns do NOT make us safer, if they did, this would be the safest nation on Earth, and we’re not. I’m tired of the bullshit NRA talking points and everyone talking about their “freedoms”. Freedom at the point of a gun, or more appropriately behind a gun, is not freedom at all. Freedoms come from within each of us, and is not granted by ANY external force. So stop. No more guns, all firearms are produced, distributed, and purchased legally at some point. So something has to change with the law.
Every day that passes that we are responsible because we don’t do anything to put an end to this shit. It’s on us. Simple as that, we are all just as responsible for the dead as the people pulling the trigger. So let’s get moving on this finally, let’s put the excuses aside. Have fun, I guess, keep running, because, you know the rest, I don’t feel like saying it today.
